L’Equipe, a French outlet, previously stated that Inter Miami was the leading candidate for Messi’s signature after he received formal offers from Saudi Arabia. Currently, Inter Miami is six points away from a Final Series Playoff spot, with a game in hand.

Messi’s departure from PSG will come after he contributed 32 goals and 35 assists in 75 appearances across all competitions, aiding the French giants in securing two Ligue 1 titles. Should the transfer to Miami be confirmed, it will mark the first time in his professional career that Messi plays outside of Europe.
