I gave them house, car, business” – OPM Pastor Says late Deborah’s family are ungrateful

Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the Founder of Omega Power Ministries, has refuted the allegations made by the late Deborah Samuel’s family, denying that he abandoned them.

He described them as ungrateful for falsely accusing him of causing them distress, despite his efforts to ensure their comfort.

The family of the late Deborah had claimed that, contrary to reports stating they were given a free flat, the landlord had informed them to pay the next rent promptly or prepare to vacate the property. According to Emmanuel Samuel, Deborah’s father, Apostle Chibuzor used to contact them regularly and even paid the rent for their current apartment.

However, the rent for the apartment has now expired, and they were instructed by the landlord to either renew the rent or leave. He also mentioned that all the appliances and equipment in the apartment belonged to OPM, and they did not own them. After the initial support from OPM, the family has been struggling independently.

Nevertheless, during a press conference on Saturday, the clergyman dismissed all accusations against him, asserting that they were untrue.

He explained that he had granted them ownership of a 14-flat mini-estate, declaring them as landlords to collect rent from tenants. Additionally, Apostle Chibuzor disclosed that he had established a fully equipped store for Mrs. Samuel, Deborah’s mother, and provided a car to Deborah’s father to start a taxi service.

In response, he questioned whether the family expected him to personally visit them and supervise the management of the apartments and their business.
