Heartbreaking news emerged as photos were shared online of three medical students who tragically lost their lives in the Calabar boat mishap. The incident occurred on Saturday, June 24.

The Nigerian Medical Students Association (NiMSA) has identified the deceased individuals as Aisha Celestine Ogwu, a student at the University of Uyo, Hamza Kabir, a student at Ahmadu Bello University, and Mustapha Tukur, also a student at Ahmadu Bello University. Today, on June 26th, their lifeless bodies were discovered floating, casting a shadow of sorrow over the community.
