Sepale was detained when he recorded himself engaging in sexual activity with a male minor aged 15 years old.

He is accused of eleven offenses, including two counts of statutory rape, three counts of violating a minor with parental consent, one count of producing pornographic material, four counts of rape, and one count of sexual intimidation.

According to Henry Mamothame, a spokesman for the National Prosecutions Authority, Sepale hired a private counsel to represent him in the case.

He claims that the authorities will fight any bail request.
