A video of several police officers beating up a motorcycle in Lagos state’s Oja Oba, Ogundele street neighborhood near Abule Egba under the bridge has gone viral.

In the video, you can see police officers attempting to take the motorcycle as it is being fiercely contested by the rider. One of the officers struck the rider with a stick he had with him.

Unverified reports state that the incident took place four days ago. Many people have criticized the police officers’ actions, calling them unprofessional. On this development,

the state police leadership has not yet made any comments.
